Cookies 1. What is a Cookie? A Cookie is a small string of text that is stored on your PC's hard disk, unless you delete it (or it expires). It is not a computer program, and cannot harm the data on your PC. 2. How do I know when I have received a Cookie? You need to switch on the 'Alert before accepting Cookies' option in your browser. 3. Should I switch on the alert? It's up to you. Has this anything to do with Petwise? Unfortunately not. Your pet's well being The information in this site is not a substitute for veterinary advice and is for information purposes only. You should always consult a veterinary surgeon if you have any concerns about you pet's health. He or she will have the advantage of taking a complete medical history and physically examining your animal. They will therefore be in a much better position to diagnose the illness, establish a prognosis and make recommendations about appropriate treatment. Our experts are pleased to help with behaviour queries although please note it is often not possible to give e-mail advice. Images In consideration of my engagement as a model, upon the terms herewith stated, I hereby give to Petwise Store, or their representatives and/ or assigns authority and permission: a) the unrestricted right and permission to copyright and use, re-use, publish, and republish photographic portraits or pictures of me or my pet in which I/they may be included intact or in part, composite or distorted in character or form, without restriction as to changes or transformations in conjunction with my/their own or a fictitious name, or reproduction hereof in color or otherwise, made through any Petwise related media now or hereafter known for illustration, art, promotion, advertising, trade, or any other purpose whatsoever. b) I also permit the use of any printed material in connection therewith. c) I hereby relinquish any right that I may have to examine or approve the completed product or products or the advertising copy or printed matter that may be used in conjunction therewith or the use to which it may be applied. d) I hereby release, discharge and agree to save harmless Glenn Weiss, his/her heirs, legal representatives or assigns, and all persons functioning under his/her permission or authority, or those for whom he/she is functioning, from any liability by virtue of any blurring, distortion, alteration, optical illusion, or use in composite form whether intentional or otherwise, that may occur or be produced in the taking of said picture or in any subsequent processing thereof, as well as any publication thereof, including without limitation any claims for libel or invasion of privacy. e) I hereby affirm that I am over the age of majority and have the right to contract in my own name. I have read the above authorisation, release and agreement, prior to its execution; I fully understand the contents thereof. This agreement shall be binding upon me and my heirs, legal representatives and assigns. Removal of Material by Petwise We reserve the right at any time to edit or remove any message or other material from the Message Board that is or may be in our opinion, in breach of any of these terms or are otherwise harmful or offensive in any way to any person or where complaints are received in relation to it. We will not be liable to any person who has placed any message or other material on the Message Board, irrespective of any such editing or removal. We do not however guarantee prompt editing or removal of any such message or other material from the Message Board in those circumstances. Exclusion of Liability for materials on the Site All messages contained within the Message Board are provided by individual contributors and not by Petwise.
